The Importance of Feedback

We really are working hard to be on a path of continuous improvement in all areas at Our Lady of the Assumption School.

We began this blog  Good... Great... Innovate... with the purpose of documenting our journey towards enabling e-learning in our school. We have completed a couple of posts and we would like to think these are informing you about the learning that is taking place not just for the students at OLA, but for the teachers (and principal!) as well.

We were hoping for some feedback...

Feedback - we all want helps us move forward and feedback from others is the fastest way for us to improve. Constructive feedback can motivate us, and it can also help us to alter our direction if we are found to be straying from our course. Sometimes feedback can sting a little, we know that, especially if unexpected however once given a chance to reflect on it, more often than not feedback can lead to a positive change; improvement.

Our latest posts have left us wondering...

We want to hear from you - take the plunge! Check out the last post - What do you think? and add your comment to the padlet at the bottom of the post or add a comment at the bottom. Let us know if you like the learning opportunities that we are providing for your children and let us know if there are things you would like to see more or less of.

Next Week: E-learning

‘e-learning’ - learning and teaching that is facilitated by or supported through the appropriate use of information and communication technologies (ICTs).

Next week the staff will work together to formulate a shared understanding of what e-learning is and also to formulate the beginnings of a shared vision for e-learning at our school.

We will share this vision with you as we work on it - let us know what you think!
